About the Author
Deborah Chelette-Wilson not only has the academic credentials about trauma and children she is a very experienced trauma counselor. She knows how to "child speak" and translate that to adults who are wanting to help traumatized children but haven't upgraded their understanding from the research on the brain and heart.
"If we are to help our children grow beyond their traumas then we need to grow beyond our ignorance of the impact of trauma on children's developmental needs."
